Authentic Cashmere Pashmina Stoles and Scarves

The fibers that have glorified the richness of the elite class for centuries deserve to regain their position in today's fashion world more than ever before.

For those who have had the pleasure of enjoying the luxurious feel along with other functional features such as warmth and lightness that high grade Cashmere fiber possesses, can not help not to appreciate the supremacy of this fiber over any other fiber known to mankind.

Cashmere being the most revered and craved for fiber, has also been at the same time a victim of identity theft. The "market" itself has mislead a regular consumer into believing what Cashmere actually is not by farthest stretch of imagination. The market being mostly in control of unscrupulous manufacturers who have managed so well to tag synthetic material Viscose as Pashmina which is what is supposed to be Cashmere in the West. Taking advantage of the unregulated industry and naive consumers, these manufacturers, for the sake of making huge unjust profits in the name of Cashmere, have not only defamed the Royal fiber by equating it to cheap synthetic fiber but have also affected so badly the already bad economic situation of the poor families that work the hardest in the whole supply chain and rely entirely on the sale of Cashmere fiber for their modest living standard.

So with the challenge that the industry confronts and that the end user is in most cases not even aware of, it becomes imperative and the responsibility of those who can come forward and educate the mass about the scam that is going on for long enough now. I presume this responsibility and beseech all those who can contribute towards eradicating the imposter Viscose from the market and reinstate the true holder of the throne and that is Cashmere and more accurately Pashmina.

On that note I propose that we share our knowledge and information regarding Cashmere or Pashmina by means of photos and facts that can help anyone identify and differentiate the real stuff from the imitation.
